In order to achieve alignment across the organization, some parts of the strategy ( ) are inherited from the Voys Circle by all subcircles.

What parts are inherited from the Voys circle?

These elements of the OPSP are inherited from the Voys Circle by the entire organization. In other words: you can't just change them in your subcircle.

  • Weaknesses, but subcircles can add to this
  • Trends, but subcircles can add to this
  • Brand promise
  • General prioritization
  • 3-year key thrusts
  • Critical number
  • You inherit the 1-Year organization goals.
  • You can add one circle specific year goal, if needed
    • attach a role (primary accountability)
    • attach a story / why
    • Think of challenges
    • Check if the goal is smart

Make sure your circle-specific Year Goal contributes to the company: link it to company goals and or goals of the higher circle. Add this relation to the line-of-sight table below.

Alignment

The important thing to consider when adding to inherited items for your subcircle is alignment. It's better and more efficient if we all move in the same direction, so align your circle strategy & priorities to those of the supercircle.
