But how does that work exactly? An incoming call to a Voys phone number will end up on our own network. We know which customer owns which phone number and what happens to a call is up to the customers. They can configure every step of what they want to happen in Freedom, our online environment where customers can set everything up.

To determine what happens to a call the customer sets up a dialplan. Simply put, this is a step-by-step plan where you indicate from top to bottom what happens when someone calls a Voys phone number. A simple example: your desk phone rings first, then your colleagues' phones (including the app and the webphone), and finally, a voicemail. A smart dial plan ensures that a company is optimally available for its customers.

Where the dial plan is like Legos for business telephony, we are moving more and more to settings things up for the customers automatically. We have years of experience and data on what works best, and our technology is evolving. We are moving closer and closer to automagically bringing the caller to the right person to answer the call + giving the person that answers the right context to have a better connection. This truly supports business relations; we are in business to connect people. Integrating with 3rd party systems is a big part of this.

Freedom has been specially developed for SMEs and the self-employed. For the large business market, we have One, a solution based on the Mitel platform and Blue. These include call centre solutions, fixed-mobile integration, multi-channel solutions, and extensive reporting for corporates.
