To determine what happens to a call the customer sets up a dialplan. Simply put, this is a step-by-step plan where you indicate from top to bottom what happens when someone calls a Voys phone number. A simple example: your desk phone rings first, then your colleagues' phones (including the app and the webphone), and finally, a voicemail. A smart dial plan ensures that a company is optimally available for its customers.
Where the dial plan is like Legos for business telephony, we are moving more and more to settings things up for the customers automatically. We have years of experience and data on what works best, and our technology is evolving. We are moving closer and closer to automagically bringing the caller to the right person to answer the call + giving the person that answers the right context to have a better connection.
