Install ESET Protect for Windows
If you still have Sophos installed you need to delete it first:
- Click on the Start button
- Click on the Settings button
- From the Windows Settings window, click on Apps
- Under the Apps & features section, scroll down the list and find Sophos Anti-Virus
- Click on Sophos Anti-Virus
- Click on the Uninstall button
- Click through the prompts to complete the removal of Sophos Anti-Virus
- Repeat the uninstall process for each Sophos App in the Apps & features list
- Reboot your computer when finished
Now we can install ESET
- Download the .exe from Google Drive
- Double click the .exe file
- You will see a screen like this, click on more information/meer informatie and select run anyway/toch uitvoeren
- Click next/next/next and it's done!
Install ESET Protect for Mac OS
If you had Sophos on your Mac before you first need to delete it from your Mac: you can read here how to delete Sophos from your Mac.
Now we can install ESET:
- Download the .sh file from Google Drive
- Open this page and continue at step 6 and stop at step 10.
- After a while you will get some messages about a blocked extension. You can read here how to solve his yourself.
