Do you want to use your knowledge and skills outside of work? You can, but you have to let this know.
Some of us run a business besides working at Voys. They do photo or video gigs, build websites or may even be building a startup. This is no problem as long as it is not harmful to our organization.
To get approval for these activities please send an email to hr@voys.nl and indicate where you want to work, what your work will be, and the duration of the assignment. If it does not cause any tension, you will get confirmation of this being OK.
Why do we do this? Under Dutch law, some secondary activities would technically be the property of Voys by default. If your project is not considered harmful to the organization, this is not the case. This is why we ask you to register the activity, so this never becomes an issue.
